Is the TRMP-IC compatible with the original (legacy) Thorax Plate Carrier?
No. The TRMP-IC uses the TABLOC attachment system, which is exclusive to the Thorax Incog Plate Carrier. It is not cross-compatible with the legacy Thorax Plate Carrier due to differences in the tuck tab system. If you run the original Thorax, you will need the standard TRMP placard instead.
What magazine types and calibers fit the MP2 inserts?
The MP2 inserts are designed to accommodate standard STANAG-pattern AR-15/M4-style rifle magazines (5.56/.223) as well as similar-profile 7.62x39 and .300 Blackout magazines. The heavy woven elastic and shock cord provide secure retention across a range of magazine body widths, though fitment with non-standard or drum-style magazines is not intended.
