How does the 1-point to 2-point conversion actually work?
The Vickers 221 uses Blue Force Gear's patented RED™ Swivel in combination with the molded Burnsed Socket. In 2-point mode, the sling attaches at both the front (muzzle end) and rear of the receiver. To switch to 1-point mode, simply pull the RED Swivel knob and reinsert it into the Burnsed Socket at the rear of the receiver — the entire transition takes just seconds, even under stress. Length adjustment remains fully functional in both modes.
Is this sling compatible with my AR-15 or other rifle platform?
Yes. The Vickers 221 Padded Sling is designed to work with any rifle equipped with standard QD sling swivel sockets, making it compatible with the vast majority of AR-15, M4, and similar modern sporting rifle platforms. The push-button QD swivel at the rear and the RED™ Swivel at the front both interface with standard QD mounting points.
